Tamela joined the Semmax team in January of 2019. She is a graduate of Bob Jones University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance. She has 16 years of administrative experience in the mortgage insurance industry, along with bookkeeping, tax preparation and sales experience.

Tamela and her family enjoy serving at their home church, Freedom Baptist in Rural Hall. Tamela enjoys baking, sewing and playing with her grandchildren. She is a classic car enthusiast and owner and often acts as her husband’s assistant during his restoration projects.
